Brave and The Bold - 1965

Since we'll be teaming up with brilliant Dial B For Blog at the end of the week, I thought I'd run team-up ads for the rest of the week.

This was a fairly unusual team-up, most super-heroines had a tough time headlining a book, so putting two of them together was a, er, bold move.

Designed by the venerable Ira Schnapp, this ad features a lot of text, even more than he usually had to work with. As usual, he nailed it.
