I think Joe Kubert's run on the Lord of the Jungle - art-wise, of course, but even including his scripting - is some of the best Graphic Storytelling ever.

yep, the Kubert Tarzans definitely deserve the hardcover collection treatment!
Dark Horse released the Kubert run on Tarzan as a series of Archive editions. Even though I already owned about 90% of the run I still bought them all.
