I'd like to make a request, now that I see you've broken the 1988 boundary into the 2000's: the "Zero Hour" full page "Crimson Clock" promotion from 1993. It was the 13th installment of their "DC Universe" editorial series. I want to see it somewhere online, and keep fighting the urge to post it myself, but I think it would be better suited here. That image got me so exited about Zero Hour, a book creatively defeated by the quality of the hype that preceeded it.

i had intended to not go past, say, the late 80s, but that Darwyn Cooke piece was just too good not to post.

if i come across that ZH ad, tho, i'll put it up. i haven't found it yet in the comics i have around me.

Ah the first Batman comic I remember having bought for me. I may have had earlier issues, but this one I clearly remember. So began my mania...

Craig-

yep. except for the Batman book, that ad features books that never actually got published due to the DC Implosion.

gives you an idea how abrupt all that was.

That sucketh.

I know some Implosion stuff was repurposed; anyone know if this DEADMAN story was? (I mean, other than in the inaccessible Canceled Comics Cavalcade.)

Best,

Surely someone has a copy of CCC for torrent somewhere. Hopefully.

I seem to recall that this Deadman story appeared later in Adventure Comics?
