Wasn't that one the last time any feature other than Superman got the spotlight?
Zatara should have considered himself lucky. A Mandrake clone getting the drop on Supes? HA!!!
I'm digging these Golden Age ads Rob! Great stuff most of us have never seen!

starting with #19, it would be all Supes, all the time, so the other characters had a few more chances to shine. and this cover to #14 is particularly striking!
i'll be doing more GA ads the rest of the week!
