Oh, man, I LOVED this comic when I was growing up. I could not tell you anything about it now except for the fact that it featured: 1) every character who ever starred in an issue of Showcase and 2) awesome Joe Staton art.
When I was a kid I bought just about anything that Joe Staton drew. I even tracked down the issues of Marvel's Incredible Hulk that staton inked because I liked his art so much.

it's a great comic, a fun story with an unusual group of characters.
it was co-written by friend to all my blogs, paul kupperberg, something i should've pointed out on the post itself!
I remember starring at this one for hours in anticipation of the greatness to come.
