Boy, that ad sure loses it's luster with G'Nort in there, don't it. "Mightiest Heroes of Our Time"...what a time, huh?
I really enjoyed this Secret Origins series though, and the 3-issue JLI theme was pretty neat. The Martian Manhunter origin was very cool.

yeah, the "Mightiest Heroes Of Our Time" tagline is taking quite a beating...
Don't pick on G'Nort! Wait--scratch that. Don't pick on him unless you do Rocket Red as well. And probably Fire and Ice. Oh wait-- Booster Gold is in this. Martian Manhunter's weakness is what now-- and he was missing for how long-- and you only just started this "Heart and Soul" of the League business? Might as well throw Mr. Miracle's hideously attired self into the ring as well.
So the mightiest Captain Atom of our time, then, discounting his leadership anxiety... and weren't Max and Oberon also given origin stories here...?
