This is my era! I love these ads. The B&W line art, combined with the two toned colors... creating one piece of art. As a kid I always wanted each of the book in the ads, as if DC had oicked these 8 as the best books of the month.
Kubert... Kirby... Orlando... The Shadow... etc.
Yes, Marvel kicked DC off their haughty throne in the Silver Age - but DC recovered, & ruled the Bronze.
